Events to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of great Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl begin in Los Cristianos on Friday, April 11th.
Thor was also the founder of the Pirámides de Güímar and the ethnographic park has organised a programme of celebrations in his memory.
